This program is regularly evaluated and parent input is actively encouraged and sought. All families have access to their child’s observations and portfolio at all times available in all child care centres.
The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) is a guide consisting Principles, Practices and 5 main Learning Outcomes along with each of the sub outcomes, based on identity, community, wellbeing, learning and communicating. The learning outcomes are used to reflect on children’s learning and focus on what a child can achieve rather than what they can’t. The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) enables educators to extend, and enrich children’s learning, provide opportunities for children to develop a foundation for learning and for children to become successful learners.

Our aim as educators is to teach children about emotions, feelings and to also discuss how these can affect each of us as individuals. Children are also taught about inclusion, fairness, and about being non-bias towards other people regardless of race, colour, religion or ability.
There are daily group discussions during the mat time: including music, dance, reading stories, singing songs and learning actions, playing games, memory games and basic maths.
